Thanks Arjun. It was a truly spectacular vacation - from the drive in from Williams Lake to the ferry out. It's a jewel. I'm going back, but going to camp my way through Tweedsmuir Park and along highway 20 next time. The hill was a fine piece of driving by my partner who mastered the art of 1st and 2nd gear on an automatic transmission! 18% grades and switchbacks for 9 km in the killer heat would have killed the brakes! I wish I was still there in those forests - always worried about the bears <grin>.</grin>

I've been to the doctor twice and she sees nothing...no reason to give me drugs. However, she did take a swab and I'm waiting to hear back. I went out for an hour today (union meeting) and came back and now...an hour later...I still can't calm my throat down. Grrrr...

Go to see your doctor, Beaners. Sounds like we've had/have the same bug. Nothing helped but drugs. (Prescription) Hope you are feeling better soon.☺

Amen, sister! We watched it at work (our boss's husband actually made us sit down and watch it!) and were just so impressed. Talk about courage to go out in front of Simon and be such a firecracker! Her voice is amazing.

I guess I just hang out in the right places (Robson St, Starbucks) and I go to all the right places like HMV (Robson St) and I have a few favourite cheap eateries (Robson St) that everyone else seems to go to too. Just the high end shopping alone seems to bring them out (Jessica Alba) and the high end restaurants like Cin Cin (which was good for a viewing of Timothy Hutton, Bill Goode, Jeff Goldblum and Andre Philip Gagnon - all on different occasions) - I didn't say I ate there...I just go by at the right times. It was easier when I lived in the West End and hung out though. Josh Groban is still my favourite one...he was so nice. Yep, he even beat Donny on the niceness scale!!!!!
